Temenos is proud to have won awards in three categories at the WealthBriefingAsia Awards 2023. Independently judged by an expert panel of private banks, advisors and consultants, the awards recognize innovation and excellence in the private banking and wealth management sectors.

Following a win in the Onboarding Product category in 2022, Temenos received a total of three awards this year:

Overall Asia WealthTech Provider

The judges noted how our solution for the private wealth management industry enables differentiation through superior digital and front-office capabilities, delivers cost reductions with core automation, leverages the latest technology, and supports end-to-end digital transformation with a composable front-to-back architecture.

Innovative Solution

The Temenos ESG Investing solution was selected for its ability to help banks improve client interaction by offering investment strategies aligned with their values and by measuring the positive impact of their money on the world.

Core Banking Software

Temenos was recognized for its expertise in banking and wealth management software, as well as its range of products spanning all areas of the financial services value chain, including payments, core banking, wealth management, data, analytics and a range of innovative digital channel solutions.

Each of these categories is highly contested and is subject to a rigorous process before the ultimate winner is selected by the judges. Being chosen for three awards highlights Temenos’ continued investment in technology, as well as the breadth of our capabilities, which are employed right across the wealth management industry, from the largest institutions such as Standard Chartered, Julius Baer, ING and ABN Amro, to small boutique firms.

For example, Kiatnakin Phatra Securities, one of the leading financial institutions in Thailand for wealth management, recently selected Temenos Wealth to provide a consolidated advisory front-office across all investment products, which will help it to enhance client interactions and attract a new generation of investors.

This builds on other successes globally such as our work with 200-year old Swiss private bank Mirabaud, which has undertaken one of the biggest digital transformation programs in its history to replace its on-premise architecture with a new digital ecosystem based on our open, composable SaaS-based platform, Temenos Banking Cloud. This gives the bank the tools to prepare personalized advice with greater efficiency, as well as allowing it to adapt more quickly to future client needs.

At the same time, our technology is enabling innovation from new entrants in the market such as Alpian, Switzerland’s first digital private bank, which unifies everyday banking with personalized investment and private banking services in a state-of-the-art mobile app. With the Temenos Banking Cloud on Microsoft Azure, Alpian can innovate faster and offer personalized, customer-relevant products at lower cost, while scaling on demand.

The capabilities showcased in these examples are being increasingly recognized across Asia and beyond, with our wins in the WealthBriefingAsia awards further cementing our position as the de facto software solution for the private wealth management industry. Congratulations to everyone involved in this success, and to all our fellow award winners.
