Temenos Hosts First Unified Client Educational Conference & Compliance Knowledgeshare

MALVERN, PENNSYLVANIA – May 4, 2016 – Temenos (SIX: TEMN), the software specialist for banking and finance, successfully concluded its first unified Client Educational Conference and Compliance Knowledgeshare in the United States.

Over 540 participants, representing Temenos clients, staff, partners and exhibitors, united at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center in Orlando, Florida for in-depth product training, compliance education and industry networking.

The Client Conference was modeled after the Akcelerant Customer Educational Conference, which focused on hands-on training for the company’s origination, service, collection and recovery products (now known as the Temenos Lifecycle Management Suite). When Akcelerant was acquired by Temenos in 2015, the company made a strategic decision to continue this event and expand it to include training on additional Temenos products. This year’s agenda included a new Wealth Management track for clients using the Temenos Wealth Management Suite: Front Office, and the conference was held alongside one of four Temenos Compliance Knowledgeshares that will take place in a variety of locations across the country in 2016.

The event was launched with an Opening Ceremony featuring keynote speaker and Futurist, Mike Walsh, and the Temenos CEO of North America, Jay Mossman. During Mossman’s opening remarks, he encouraged attendees to ‘imagine the possibilities’, a theme woven throughout the conference sessions and conversations. The agenda also included a number of other guest speakers including John Best, CEO of Best Innovation Group, Leah Hamilton, Chief Compliance Officer at Temenos, and Ugur Hamaloglu, wealth management leader from EY.

In addition, Temenos presented Pennsylvania State Employees Credit Union (PSECU) with the Temenos Pioneer Award. The award is given to one financial institution annually that has demonstrated a continued contribution to the advancement of new technology with Temenos. PSECU, a Symitar user with more than 400,000 members and assets exceeding $4 billion, was the first customer to use the Collection module back in 2000, and has since expanded its relationship with Temenos to include products for Loan Origination, Profitability, Service and most recently, Account Origination. Account Origination, the newest module in the Lifecycle Management Suite, was released in early 2016. Prior to its release, PSECU actively collaborated with Temenos on the development of the product, and their input and involvement directly influenced this offering from Temenos.
