Temenos Unveils the Winners of Its Customer & Partner Awards at TCF 2015

Recognizing excellence achieved with Temenos’ software across a number of different categories

ISTANBUL, Turkey at the 16th Temenos Community Forum – 21 May 2014 – Temenos (SIX: TEMN), the market-leading provider of mission-critical solutions to the financial services industry, today announces the winners of its annual customer and partner awards which recognise excellence achieved with its software across a number of different categories.

Excellence in Customer Service

Blue Shore Financial

An early adopter of many of Temenos solutions, for its success in improving customer service, delivering new innovative products and helping to bring insights and value to customers’ lives. As a result, more than 80% of its clients believe that the firm has helped to raise their financial well-being, offers good value products and services and works with their best interests in mind, and the bank has grown at more than double the rate of its competitors in the last 4 years.

Product Innovation

KBC Bank

KBC Bank has invested heavily in state-of-the-art core banking and digital capabilities and been a pioneering adopter of a number of new Temenos technologies. As a result, it now takes fewer than 12 minutes to onboard a new customer, less than half the time it took in the past, and just hours to launch new products. In its Q1 2015 results, the bank announced deposit growth of 20% and 10% growth in customer numbers.

Metro Bank, UK

Metro Bank was launched in 2010 as the first new retail bank in the UK for over 100 years. Now the bank now has more than 31 branches with another 10 to open this year. Despite facing a more difficult comparative each year, the bank continues to more than double annually its loans and deposits, and it now has half a million customers.

Improved Efficiency

BOQ Specialist Bank

A Temenos customer since 2008. During that time, they have made extensive use of T24, regularly upgrading and adopting new functionality, staying very close to the core release. The bank uses T24 as its main system with very few supporting applications, making it able to operate with extremely low and falling run the bank costs, and helping the bank to grow revenue and increase profitability significantly over recent years.

Temenos Chairman Award

ABN AMRO 

This award is in recognition of its significant and growing commitment to using Temenos software for its global operations. The bank has been using Temenos software since 1998, when it adopted Triple ‘A Plus, which it now uses across 8 sites globally. In 2009, ABN AMRO adopted T24 in its corporate business. In 2011, the bank worked with Temenos to enhance its payments solution for use globally. This year the bank decided to adopt WealthSuite for its private banking operations globally.

Temenos Sales Partner of the Year

Deloitte

The partner who brought the most leads that converted to deals in 2014. Deloitte has been very influential in helping Temenos to win deals in many countries, most recently in helping Temenos to gain a stronger presence in North America.

Services Partner of the Year

Cognizant

Awarded based on customer feedback from the Customer Voice Survey. Quotes from Temenos customers that have worked with this partner included: ‘the quality of work is exceptional’; ‘they are solution orientated; and have good quality reliable staff; ‘highly professional organisation’, ‘very satisfied with the work carried out – delivered on time and to a very high standard’.

Complementary Solution Provider of the Year

EFS Technology

The award this year went to EFS Technology for achieving the most sales; launching innovative technology, such as an app for remote cheque capture; and acting as an early advocate of Temenos’ MarketPlace, by putting apps and widgets into the very first iteration. .

Partner Innovation of the year

Cognizant for wealthQUAY

A full wealth management ‘as a service’ solution for large independent financial advisors, family offices and small private banks which was launched at this year’s TCF. WealthQUAY uses Temenos products such as Triple A Plus and DataSource to provide this end to end integrated solution.
