Independent Research Firm Names Temenos Most Successful Global Banking Platform Vendor

GENEVA, Switzerland – 24th April 2012 – Temenos (SIX: TEMN), the market leading provider of banking software, is pleased to announce that Forrester Research, Inc. has ranked Temenos in the top position of the global vendor pyramid in its April 2012 report, Global Banking Platform Deals 2011

The research assessed 25 banking platforms, covering banking platform functionality, number of new customers, and global success by geography. Despite the highest level of vendor participation ever, Temenos was the only vendor that remained a Global Power Seller, with 39 new win deals, across more than 5 regions in 2011.

Temenos is set to continue to dominate the core banking market globally as banks take a cautious approach to vendor selection in the context of the difficult market conditions, and look for a strong partner to help guide through and reduce risk.
