2025
International Woman’s Day
To honor International Women’s Day 2025, Temenos partnered with Presidency College to deliver skill‑building sessions for over 200 female students. Aligned with the theme of the day “For ALL Women and Girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment” , the program included an engaging FinTech session encouraging students to explore new opportunities and build future‑ready skills.
Earth Day
Temenos celebrated Earth Day 2025 with “EcoQuiz – Power Up for the Planet,” inspired by the theme “Our Planet, Our Power.” The interactive quiz engaged colleagues in a fun way while raising awareness of sustainability, climate action, and responsible living. In total, 209 employees took part, showing our shared commitment to a more sustainable future.
World Environment Day
As every year, Temenos marked World Environment Day with engaging sustainability initiatives that encouraged everyday action. Activities included the No Lift Challenge, where 341 employees chose the stairs and helped save 205 kg of CO₂, the Pledge to End Plastic Pollution, and the Green Desk Decoration initiative, promoting simple, practical habits for a more sustainable workplace.
International Youth Day
To mark International Youth Day, 42 Temenos employees and their families joined a mural-painting initiative with Thuvakkam NGO and the Indian Air Force. The activity recognized the role of young people in building a more sustainable future and aimed to raise environmental awareness, support community engagement, and reflect Temenos’ commitment to sustainability as a core CSR pillar.
Breast Cancer Awareness Month
As every year, Temenos employees and their families participated in the annual Terry Fox Run 2025 at Chennai Island Grounds, a global non‑competitive event held across 600 cities with the objective of raising funds and awareness for cancer research. By completing the 3 km and 6 km routes, our participants continued to support the mission to advance cancer research and strengthen the fight against cancer.
World Charity Day
We are actively engaged in promoting poverty alleviation and local economic development. Through the “Shop for a Cause” initiative, Temenos employees came together to support women from underprivileged communities, helping enhance their livelihoods and strengthen rural development. This initiative reflects our belief in building resilient communities through meaningful, hands-on engagement.
Flag Day
By actively supporting the UN Sustainable Development Goals, on September 25th, Temenos celebrated SDG Flag Day by joining the global awareness campaign. Our employees volunteered to spread the message, inspiring collective responsibility and demonstrating our commitment to building a more sustainable and inclusive world.
World Children’s Day
To honor World Children’s Day 2025, Temenos joined the #GadgetFreeHour movement, inviting 69 children of employees across India to participate in a PAN‑India art contest. Supported by Parents Circle, the initiative encouraged children to spend time away from screens, explore their creativity, and enjoy meaningful moments with their families.
International Day of Persons with Disabilities
To mark the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, Temenos hosted a virtual volunteering session where 29 employees created Homonyms Study Cards to support vocabulary and language learning for hearing‑impaired children. These materials will be distributed through our partner organization, Communitree, helping enhance accessible education.
Pink October
During Pink October, our people around the world took part in local activities to support breast cancer awareness. In India, Temenos employees actively supported the Adyar Cancer Institute, contributing to its mission to provide quality care and essential resources to patients battling cancer.
2024
World Biodiversity Day
In honor of Biodiversity Day, we held a meeting with the Mission Earth Team to raise awareness among employees about biodiversity. The theme for the Day, “Be part of the Plan,” calls for global efforts to halt and reverse biodiversity loss. Additionally, we cleaned our tree plantation site, removing debris, weeds, and non-biodegradable waste to prepare for new saplings. This improved the area and created a healthier environment for young trees, reinforcing our commitment to environmental conservation.
Earth Day
For Earth Day 2024, Temenos India hosted an Inter-School Plastic Recycling Contest for Adopt-IT students. Around 100 participants from three schools showcased their creativity by transforming plastic waste into art pieces, from sculptures to upcycled fashion. This contest emphasized recycling and sustainability, with winners celebrated for their innovative contributions. Temenos is proud to support young minds in advocating for environmental change and sustainability.
World Water Day
Temenos joined the global movement for World Water Day 2024, raising awareness about the critical role of freshwater and its growing challenges. We educated employees on water conservation through informative resources, encouraged water-saving practices, and emphasized collective responsibility in protecting this vital resource.
International Women’s Day
In celebration of International Women’s Day 2024, Temenos partnered with Presidency College under the theme “Inspire Inclusion: Investing in Women to Accelerate Progress.” We conducted skill development sessions for over 200 girl students, highlighted by a thought-provoking Fintech session led by one of our experts. This initiative focused on enhancing their abilities and preparing them for future opportunities.
World Forest Day
On World Forest Day, our India Empoyees, SOS Children, and the Communitree team planted 1,500 saplings at Elcot, Sholinganallur, Chennai. We aim to help the planet and our local communities by creating new ecosystems to cool the area and boost biodiversity. We’ll continue to monitor these trees to ensure lasting benefits.
International Mind Body Wellness Day
In honor of International Mind Body Wellness Day, Temenos India proudly highlights our participation in the Freshworks Chennai Marathon 2024, supporting Type 1 diabetes. On January 6th, 45 Temenosians ran distances from 10 km to 42 km, raising INR 66,375 for the cause.
Their commitment to wellness and community support is truly inspiring.

International Women’s Day
To commemorate International Women’s Day 2023, Temenos organized a groundbreaking seminar at Chevalier T. Thomas Elizabeth Arts & Science College for Women in India, highlighting how technology is revolutionizing the fintech industry and empowering women to lead the way.
World Environment Day
In celebration of World Environment Day 2023, Temenos joined the global movement by hosting a live online event on June 7, 2023. Over 400 participants from around the world gathered to discuss the urgent issue of plastic pollution and explore effective solutions. This impactful event was organized by Temenos’ employee resource group, the “Mission Earth Team” dedicated to raising awareness about sustainability and ways to protect our planet
International Education Day
Temenosians celebrated International Education Day by volunteering at Kumaran Special School, engaging students in various activities such as creating origami, crafting handprint murals, and planting seeds.
International Day of Women and Girls in Science
Commemorating International Day of Women and Girls in Science, we organized an interactive session at Lady Willingdon School, introducing a diverse group of young minds to the exciting world of financial technology (fintech).
International Youth Day
In commemoration of International Youth Day 2023, Temenos India organized an insightful seminars on waste management, engaging nearly 200 young minds from our Adopt-IT program. Through interactive sessions, students gained valuable insights into effective waste management practices, including segregation, recycling, composting, and upcycling.
World Charity Day
On World Charity Day, Temenosians demonstrated their unwavering commitment to social responsibility by supporting WISHALL, an organization empowering women from marginalized communities. The amount, raised through a “Shop for a Cause” stall setup, was directly contributed to the organization’s mission of uplifting women and fostering a brighter future.
Earth Day
Temenos marked Earth Day 2023 with a series of initiatives, including CSR Adopt-iT program and collaboration with Indian universities. Kalliopi Chioti, our Chief Marketing & ESG Officer, delivered a compelling message at the G20 360-degree International conference in Chennai, urging the academic community to join forces in shaping a low-carbon, climate-resilient future. Through these initiatives, we inspire young minds, fostering a commitment to environmental protection and contributing to a brighter tomorrow.
World Art Day
On World Art Day, Temenos celebrated creativity and community spirit by organizing a paint-a-thon at SOS Children’s Villages in Bangalore. Temenosians and their families joined forces with the children of SOS Village, transforming walls into vibrant masterpieces in an inspiring display of artistic collaboration.
World Cleanup Day
In a united effort showcasing commitment to environmental protection, Temenosians from offices worldwide, including Luxembourg and Taiwan, teamed up for World Cleanup Day 2023. With enthusiasm and dedication, our employees and their loved ones volunteered, cleaning up local areas, removing trash to enhance the environment, and by the same time contributing to the beauty of their communities
