Bank of Beirut UK Goes Live with Temenos Core and Payments to Accelerate Corporate Banking Growth
Temenos’ unified banking platform enables the Bank of Beirut to scale trade finance and deliver faster, more efficient banking services
GRAND-LANCY, Switzerland and LONDON, UK – FEBRUARY 17, 2026 – Temenos (SIX: TEMN), a global leader in banking technology, today announced that Bank of Beirut UK Ltd, has successfully gone live with Temenos Core Banking and Payments. This strategic transformation positions Bank of Beirut UK to expand its corporate banking operations and strengthen its role as a trusted partner for businesses and correspondent banks across the UK, Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
By adopting Temenos Core, Bank of Beirut UK now offers a full suite of retail, commercial, and deposit services, complemented by specialized trade finance capabilities for businesses operating in global markets. The implementation and migration from Bank of Beirut UK’s legacy system was completed in just over 15 months, in collaboration with Temenos Delivery Partner LTIMindtree.
The go-live builds on Temenos’ long-standing relationship with its parent bank, Bank of Beirut, one of Lebanon’s top banks. Unifying UK and global operations on Temenos’ modern platform enable both the parent bank and its UK subsidiary to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and accelerate time-to-market for new services.
