World Biodiversity Day

In honor of Biodiversity Day, we held a meeting with the Mission Earth Team to raise awareness among employees about biodiversity. The theme for the Day, “Be part of the Plan,” calls for global efforts to halt and reverse biodiversity loss. Additionally, we cleaned our tree plantation site, removing debris, weeds, and non-biodegradable waste to prepare for new saplings. This improved the area and created a healthier environment for young trees, reinforcing our commitment to environmental conservation.

Earth Day

For Earth Day 2024, Temenos India hosted an Inter-School Plastic Recycling Contest for Adopt-IT students. Around 100 participants from three schools showcased their creativity by transforming plastic waste into art pieces, from sculptures to upcycled fashion. This contest emphasized recycling and sustainability, with winners celebrated for their innovative contributions. Temenos is proud to support young minds in advocating for environmental change and sustainability.

World Water Day

Temenos joined the global movement for World Water Day 2024, raising awareness about the critical role of freshwater and its growing challenges. We educated employees on water conservation through informative resources, encouraged water-saving practices, and emphasized collective responsibility in protecting this vital resource.

International Women’s Day

In celebration of International Women’s Day 2024, Temenos partnered with Presidency College under the theme “Inspire Inclusion: Investing in Women to Accelerate Progress.” We conducted skill development sessions for over 200 girl students, highlighted by a thought-provoking Fintech session led by one of our experts. This initiative focused on enhancing their abilities and preparing them for future opportunities.

World Forest Day

On World Forest Day, our India Empoyees, SOS Children, and the Communitree team planted 1,500 saplings at Elcot, Sholinganallur, Chennai. We aim to help the planet and our local communities by creating new ecosystems to cool the area and boost biodiversity. We’ll continue to monitor these trees to ensure lasting benefits.

International Mind Body Wellness Day

In honor of International Mind Body Wellness Day, Temenos India proudly highlights our participation in the Freshworks Chennai Marathon 2024, supporting Type 1 diabetes. On January 6th, 45 Temenosians ran distances from 10 km to 42 km, raising INR 66,375 for the cause.

Their commitment to wellness and community support is truly inspiring.

International Women’s Day

To commemorate International Women’s Day 2023, Temenos organized a groundbreaking seminar at Chevalier T. Thomas Elizabeth Arts & Science College for Women in India, highlighting how technology is revolutionizing the fintech industry and empowering women to lead the way.

World Environment Day

In celebration of World Environment Day 2023, Temenos joined the global movement by hosting a live online event on June 7, 2023. Over 400 participants from around the world gathered to discuss the urgent issue of plastic pollution and explore effective solutions. This impactful event was organized by Temenos’ employee resource group, the “Mission Earth Team” dedicated to raising awareness about sustainability and ways to protect our planet

International Education Day

Temenosians celebrated International Education Day by volunteering at Kumaran Special School, engaging students in various activities such as creating origami, crafting handprint murals, and planting seeds.

International Youth Day

In commemoration of International Youth Day 2023, Temenos India organized an insightful seminars on waste management, engaging nearly 200 young minds from our Adopt-IT program. Through interactive sessions, students gained valuable insights into effective waste management practices, including segregation, recycling, composting, and upcycling.

World Charity Day

On World Charity Day, Temenosians demonstrated their unwavering commitment to social responsibility by supporting WISHALL, an organization empowering women from marginalized communities. Earth Day

Temenos marked Earth Day 2023 with a series of initiatives, including CSR Adopt-iT program and collaboration with Indian universities.
