Larry Edgar-Smith is a senior leader at Temenos USA and brings over 30 years of experience to the organization. In his current role as an Executive Vice President, he oversees all day to day business operations for the Lifecycle Management Suite including product roadmap and vision, software delivery, quality assurance, professional services, and customer management. Larry joined Temenos USA (formerly Akcelerant) in 2010 as a Product Manager where he supported the company’s lending division and the development of the Loan Origination module. He later managed the business analysts and solutions architects, the teams responsible for the product vision. By 2014 he was promoted to Senior Vice President of Product Evangelism where he managed the company’s product roadmap, pre-sales team and thought leadership platform for the entire Lifecycle Management Suite. During his tenure, Larry has worked with staff, customers and prospects, and industry leaders to analyze, define and implement new products, processes and procedures to support the growth of the Lifecycle Management Suite. Larry was also the creative force behind the Temenos Talks Webinar series, has authored numerous white papers, as well as countless blogs for Temenos and other organizations. Akcelerant, established in 2000, offered multiple software product lines that were used by more than 600 financial institutions in North America. In February, 2015 Akcelerant became a wholly owned subsidiary of Temenos USA, Inc., a global market leader in providing software to the financial services industry. The company was later rebranded, and fully integrated into Temenos where Larry remains a leader within the company and serves as a member of the executive management team of Temenos North America. Prior his current role he has been a senior contributor at a host of technology providers including FIS, GHR Systems, CapMark, Aecio Technologies, Day One, Inc., and Unisys.
