Greg Sawyers is a Product Compliance Officer for Temenos USA. With over a decade of experience working in the banking industry, Mr. Sawyers has spent the majority of his career working in compliance and BSA. His work history includes time spent at both small and large financial institutions giving him a wide range of knowledge pertinent to all community banks. Prior to his arrival at Temenos, Greg was the Chief Compliance Officer and Chief Risk Officer for Educational Services of America where he worked heavily within the student loan industry to ensure compliance with a student portfolio that exceeds $2.5 billion. In addition to his duties at Educational Services of America, Greg was the Chief Risk Officer and Sr. Compliance Officer for their subsidiary, SouthEast Bank. Greg developed and oversaw compliance, risk management, and vendor management for both organizations. Greg graduated from East Tennessee State University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree. He has furthered his education in the field of compliance by attaining the coveted designations of Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM), Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), and Certified Community Bank Compliance Officer (CCBCO).
