GENEVA, Switzerland – August 12, 2020 – Temenos (SIX: TEMN), the banking software company, today announced it has been named a Visionary in Gartner’s 2020 Magic Quadrant for Multiexperience Development Platforms (MXDP) report. Temenos deems the recognition in the Gartner report to be validation of its continuous investment in innovative technology to drive outstanding customer experience. Multiexperience platforms enable banks to develop mobile and web apps as well as voice, Augmented Reality, and wearable functionality and are key to create rich and differentiated customer experiences across all channels.

Temenos has invested heavily in Temenos Quantum and is the only banking software provider that also offers a feature-rich MXDP. Temenos Quantum is a leading technology platform and it underpins Temenos’ banking products including Temenos Transact, core banking and Temenos Infinity, which delivers outstanding digital experiences with the flexibility to customize and extend them.

According to Gartner:

“Great companies don’t just build apps, they build experiences. To do this, they will increasingly need a multiexperience development platform (MXDP), which will enable them to deliver, efficiently and rapidly, distinctive user experiences (UXs) that span multiple devices, digital touchpoints and interaction modalities.”

Max Chuard, Chief Executive Officer, Temenos, said:

“As a leader in banking software, we are proud to be recognized in the Gartner Magic Quadrant. Temenos Quantum, our multiexperience development platform, gives banks the edge as it enables them to deliver richer digital experiences to their customers, which are more important than ever in this current climate. We invest relentlessly in innovation, and have made strategic investments to enhance our MXDP platform including embedding Explainable AI. We have now combined Temenos Quantum with our Explainable AI platform, and we are bringing to market the next-generation development platform to help banks create the digital enterprises of the future. We believe our position as a Visionary in the Magic Quadrant is validation of our investment in innovation, our pure play banking software product and our strategic vision.”

The Gartner report states:

“By 2024 one in three enterprises will use a multiexperience development platform to increase the speed at which IT and business fusion teams work to deliver successful digital product. [..] Organizations with an established multiexperience strategy will outperform competitors in customer experience employee experience satisfaction metrics.”

Temenos Quantum can help banks capture market share and improve client retention by delivering seamless, AI-driven experiences faster across web, native apps, wearables, conversational and immersive touchpoints.

Temenos integrated its patented Explainable AI (XAI) with Quantum’s powerful business process management and business rules. This powers intelligent, hyperpersonalized digital experiences, resulting in greater user engagement and satisfaction, and faster origination. Through AI-driven development, integrated DevOps processes and low-code tooling for end-to-end automated testing, Temenos Quantum helps developers be more productive, accelerates software delivery and enables rapid launch of competitive product innovations.
