In an effort to recognize and celebrate our talented colleagues, we’d like to share some inspirational stories from their time at Temenos, from previous employment and from their personal lives too.
1. When did you join Temenos? Tell us about your role.
I joined Temenos in 1999 as part of the new Operations team in India. Over the years I had the
opportunity of exploring various roles in areas such as Implementation, Support Helpdesk (PACS), TAM for Local Dev (L3) and Product.
Currently I am the Head of Offshore Product Development across L1, L2 and L3 and Delivery Director for Product Deliverables.
2. What do you think makes Temenos unique (as an employer)? What made you join the company?
Temenos is unique due to its keen focus on being a people, pure product, diverse and client-oriented company at the same time.
With an amazing diversity and a flat organisation, the company provides you the freedom to take ownership of your responsibilities, evolve professionally and interact with colleagues and customers from different cultures and regions.
Furthermore, being a pure product company that focuses exclusively on developing quality Banking Software, I truly believe there is no better place to be if you want to work in this industry.
3. What do you enjoy the most at Temenos?
Throughout my experience in Support, TAM and now Product I had to deal with various challenges which I really enjoyed such as troubleshooting, identifying fast solutions and fixing the issues we’ve encountered. Working with a fantastic team, I was always able to put out the fires and prevent new ones.
4. If you were to describe working at Temenos in a single phrase, what would that be?
“PROUD” is the word that describes my work at Temenos. I take pride in being part of this incredible “once in a lifetime” journey.
5. If you think about the future, what do you look forward to in your journey at Temenos?
More challenges, as I truly believe that we are at the cusp of another incredible 25 years journey at a faster pace while we need to become more agile, flexible and adapt to technology transformations and customer behaviours changes.
6. What does the “Operate Responsibly” Value mean to you and how do you relate to it?
For me this value means running our business in a strategic way for the benefit of all the stakeholders. I consider that we all “Operate Responsibly” through our daily work but also by contributing to various CSR initiatives and activates.
