In an effort to recognize and celebrate our talented colleagues, we’d like to share some inspirational stories from their time at Temenos, from previous employment and from their personal lives too.

1. When did you join Temenos? Tell us about your role.

I joined Temenos in November of 2015, as an Inside Sales Executive. Due to my limited experience working in the marketing space before joining the company, the position was a bit challenging at first. However, working under Maria Pulice and Enrique’s leadership I was able to adopt the best practises they had put in place for prospecting, campaign management, event planning, etc. which helped me not only surpass my targets but also have a great time doing it.

I have since transitioned to working in account and business development management which are every bit as challenging but also as enjoyable as the time I spent working for the marketing team.

2. What do you think makes Temenos unique (as an employer)? What made you join the company?

Temenos’ culture is like no other. We are undisputedly a world leader, yet our senior leadership team does not try to micro-manage our day-to-day activities. Having the freedom handle our business opportunities based on every financial institution’s specific needs allows us develop a unique strategy for each opportunity, which shows our clients that we understand their needs and will deliver a solution/project which is fully aligned with their IT and business objectives.

3. What do you enjoy the most at Temenos?

Temenos is a truly global company in every sense of the word. During my tenure at Temenos, I have been able to meet people from all around the globe and have developed lifelong friendships in the process. Additionally, being able to proudly say that we have the world’s best banking software allows me to stay motivated and continue pushing forward.

4. If you were to describe working at Temenos in a single phrase, what would that be?

A never-ending rollercoaster ride full of unexpected, yet very fulfilling challenges.

5. If you think about the future, what do you look forward to in your journey at Temenos?

Increasing our market share in Latin-American. Although we currently have clients in most countries across the region, we still have some untapped territories that would benefit from using our software and I want to be part of the reason we help bring our solutions there.

I also hope I will get the opportunity to help mentor the next generations of Temenosians the same way I have been mentored.

6. What does the “Customer Core” Value mean to you and how do you relate to it?

“Customer core” is so deeply embedded in Temenos’ DNA that it’s actually the meaning behind our unique name and day-to-day operations. Asides from being the source of our revenues, our clients also provide us the knowledge we need to continue being the world leader we are today. I do my best to never lose sight of those facts and always express our most sincere gratitude for placing the trust in our team and solutions.
