GENEVA, Switzerland – April 03, 2018 – Temenos (SIX: TEMN), the banking software company, has been recognized in the Best Workplace 2018 awards for Greece, organized by global research and consulting firm Great Place to Work®. Temenos has been cited not only as the banking technology leader but also as a top employer in the Greek market, receiving a #2 ranking in the 20-49 employee category.

Now in their 16th year, the Great Place to Work® awards attracted entries from companies from multiple industries. Winners were selected after evaluation of anonymized questionnaires submitted by company employees. This is the first time that Temenos has entered these awards with the aim of showcasing one of its core company values: investment in its human capital.

Max Chuard, CFO/ COO at Temenos, stated:

“We are proud to receive this award, which further affirms our commitment to our people and our industry. At Temenos, we believe that people are key to our success and this is one of our fundamental values. Everything we have achieved since 1993, in order to become today the market leader in banking software is due to the dedication and talent of our people. We strive to provide to them the best working environment and we foster innovation in our teams, so together we can help our clients become successful in their digital transformation journeys. This achievement for Temenos Hellas is very important for our company as it coincides with our ambitious expansion of our teams in Greece.”

The Best Workplace award highlights Temenos’ rapid expansion worldwide as well as in the domestic Greek market. With a strong global presence – 63 offices serving 3000 clients in 150 countries -, Temenos gives its employees the opportunity to broaden their experiences and skill sets by working on global projects and build their careers while they are still based locally. Temenos is investing in Greece by attracting and retaining talent in the country. Temenos Hellas has increased its human resources by 40% since 2016 and it is expanding with a number of new positions in various functions such as Sales, Services, Marketing, Management and CSR.
