Greg Sawyers – This Thanksgiving, in particular, I am reflecting on what I am most thankful for. Top of mind is always God, an amazing family, wonderful friends, and the best co-workers a person could have. This year, I want to add health to my list of things I am thankful for. I believe all of us have been impacted this year by COVID in one way or another, but it’s the things we are grateful for that put these type of events and our new norm that put our life into perspective and make them more enjoyable. I want to leave you with a quote from Theodore Roosevelt.

“Let us remember that, as much has been given us, much will be expected from us, and that true homage comes from the heart as well as from the lips, and shows itself in deeds.”

Sarah Highlander – I am thankful for my amazing family (including the work variety), my patient and unflappable God, my good health, my fabulous country and the ability to be grateful for it all!!!

Mike Woodley – I am thankful to God for keeping my children and their families safe during these unique times. Of the 2 children, only my son, a Fire Captain, had COVID but he was blessed with no symptoms and a quick recovery. Daughter, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, wife and I have been blessed with good health during these times.

Rachelle Dekker – There really is so much to be thankful for, but most of all I am thankful for my family, faith and my health! I also am thankful for my work family and our customers and the opportunity to learn, teach, support and laugh together! Thank you to each and every one of you!

Matt Goble –  As I reflect on these past several months of 2020, I am immensely thankful for my health and the health of my family, friends and colleagues on the Temenos advisory team. I have always said your success largely depends on those who you surround yourself with, and I am thankful to have been surrounded and supported by the best during these difficult times. I am also thankful for being able to work while so many have lost their jobs or were unable to work due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This year has certainly put things into a different perspective for all of us, but with that new perspective we can all be more thankful for the little things in life and be more grateful for it. –

Kat Schock – As this tumultuous year comes to a close, I am extremely thankful for my health as well as my family’s.  I am also grateful to work with such a wonderful and supportive team of people.  And finally, my husband and I welcomed our son into the world over the summer and he, along with his big sister, have been a bright ray of sunshine in our lives.

Derrick Black – I am thankful for my family, our health, and my amazing work family. This year has really highlighted the things that are important in life and those things are at the top of the list.

Shelly Nicholl – Thanksgiving is so much more than feasting on delicious food. It’s a time when we all try to get together to celebrate one another and enjoy each other’s company. John F. Kennedy said, “We must find time to stop and thank the people who make a difference in our lives.” This not only includes my family and friends. This also includes my work community for which I am truly grateful to be part of.

Jeremy Carcich – I am thankful for my family, friends, colleagues and so many people I have met over the years.  This year has not been like no other, so I continue to pray for safety and health for everyone.  Have a blessed day of giving THANKS and surround yourself with loved ones and friends.

Anish Ali – Happy Thanksgiving. There are so many things I am thankful for this year, but at the very top are my family, friends and co-workers. Wishing you all a wonderful holiday filled with the warmth and happiness of the season.  It is not just the festivities that make Thanksgiving special. It is a time to ponder upon the lessons we learned through the year, and the happiness we spread around. So, look back at the memories of the year, and look forward to another great year.

Jon Tavares – In this unprecedented pandemic situation, I am thankful for my health and my family’s health.  Wishing you and yours good health during this season.

Elizabeth Greene – There is a lot to be thankful for, even though it may seem difficult to find during this unique, relatively difficult year. Above all I am thankful that my family, including my two girls, and friends remain healthy. Thankful that friends and colleagues continue to be supportive and are there to communicate and playfully commiserate in learning to virtually learn and educate while still doing my “real” job. Lastly, I am thankful I have mastered the art of washing my hands; never knowing I would sing Happy Birthday so many times in a given year!

Cindy LeBlanc – This has been a hard year for so many – hurricanes, fires, floods, COVID, job losses, and community shut downs.Regardless of it all, I am truly thankful for so many things.  I am thankful for my relationship with the Lord and the peace that it brings in the midst of chaos, my precious family, friends, my work family, all of our wonderful customers and the ability to find humor in the little things.  John Piper said: “Gratitude honors God. Gratitude is the echo of grace as it reverberates through the hollows of the human heart. Gratitude is the unashamed acceptance of a free gift and the heartfelt declaration that we cherish what we cannot buy.”

As we come upon the Thanksgiving season, take time to smile, tell someone thank you, give a “virtual hug” or a listening ear.  You never know what a blessing you can be for someone else and in turn your life will be the richer for it.  May you make special memories with those you love this season.
