Temenos strengthens management structure
GENEVA, Switzerland, 4 December 2015 – Temenos Group AG (SIX: TEMN), the market leading provider of mission-critical software to financial institutions globally, today announces that it has strengthened its management structure by appointing Max Chuard as Chief Operating Officer.
As Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Chuard will oversee all aspects of client delivery including on-premise implementations, Software as a Service (SaaS) and the partner programme. Mr. Chuard assumes these responsibilities in addition to his role as the group’s Chief Financial Officer. The appointment is effective immediately.
The move will serve to strengthen the group’s operations in response to fast growth, at the same time as allowing CEO David Arnott to focus on sales, strategy and business development, in particular growing Temenos’ presence in the US market, which represents a key strategic priority for the group.
Commenting on the announcement, Temenos CEO David Arnott said:
“Max Chuard has been with the company for more than 13 years, during which time he has progressively taken on additional responsibilities across corporate development, investor relations, finance and, most recently, overseeing the acquisition and integration of the Multifonds business. As CFO, Max has been critical to supporting the growth of the company, building a strong team, as well as automating and strengthening processes across the group. It is a natural next step for Max to move deeper into group operations and I am certain that the move will bring significant benefits to both our clients and to our business, helping it to scale as we continue to grow strongly.”
