Head of Compliance Practice appointed
Temenos is delighted to announce that Marlene Meli, has been appointed to lead the compliance services practice at Temenos. Her appointment is part of Temenos' drive to support financial institutions in the ever more complex and costly area of regulation and compliance.
Marlene brings with her over 30 years' experience in Banking Operations and IT. Her career has included various senior management positions covering Core Banking, Securities Services, International Banking Operations and IT, and most recently she held the role of Head of Global Compliance and Risk Screening Infrastructure at UBS. Marlene will be based in our head office in Geneva.
The compliance landscape continues to present challenges as regulatory requirements increase and money laundering schemes, trade-based money laundering, capital flight, tax evasion and schemes related to new digital channels evolve and mutate. Temenos has over 25 years' experience in supporting banks in compliance and regulation and with Marlene's proven track record in driving operational efficiency programmes and IT change projects she is ideally suited to support financial institutions during these challenging times.
