GAMMA is an intelligent IT monitoring, automation and scheduling tool for Temenos Transact. It supports IT operations to ensure the high availability of core banking services and interfaces, full business continuity and the achievement of service-level objectives through real-time monitoring of business operations based on Temenos Transact.
Features
Online Monitor supports users in monitoring the bank’s online IT operations in real time. The module’s purpose is to detect any discrepancies in the monitored components without delay. It monitors background processes, databases, security, OFS, lockings, disk usage, system performance, OS processes and printers.

The GAMMA Online Monitor Dashboard helps:
• Check the overall system status
• Check the behavior of the background processes
• Check the locking system, identify long locks
• Check MQ channels availability and queue depths
• Identify the general speed of the system
• Check transaction response times
• Check errors of the transactions
• Check COMO logs, identify errors
• Check OS level processes that must or must not run
• Check TC Server operation, adapter availability, processing time, transaction counts
• Check the illegal access to the system, applications, and records
• Check COB job running times and record counts
• Check Database Driver logs (Oracle, DB2, MS-SQL)
• Check TAFC / TAFJ logs
• Check server printers, form queues and their processes
• Check and parse any log files whether Temenos Core Banking or not

COB Monitor is a module for monitoring COB processes in real time. It was designed in cooperation with active GAMMA operators to ensure optimum usability and efficiency. It displays crucial information, such as the actual phase, status (normal, warning, major error), job runtimes, total number of active and pending jobs, and the projected time of bank opening.

The GAMMA COB Monitor Dashboard:
• Is a web-based component to monitor COB processing in real time
• Displays actual statuses of monitored systems
• Manages multiple COBs
• Immediately notifies and alerts if a problem occurs
• Checks for long running times
• Checks for processing stagnation
• Shows statistics and detailed information for the jobs
• Monitors pre- and post-COB activities
• All COB-related details are stored in the database
• Helps to determine expected runtimes

COB Analyser is a module for analysing, comparing and evaluating COB-related information. This is a powerful component that enables users to be proactive, and to identify trends, threats and correlations. The Analyser supports the IT department through numerous out-of-the box statistics and diagrams.

The GAMMA COB Analyser Dashboard:
• Is an intelligent, web-based analyser
• Displays COB statistics with many out-of-the box charts and reports
• Shows top runtimes, special jobs, performance deviations from average values
• Includes intelligent average calculating methods
• Supports error prevention through analysing trends of running times, record numbers, throughput degradation, long selection times etc.
• Provides statistics about jobs including pre- and post-COB jobs
• Is a knowledge base of IO operations for COB jobs
• Compares COBs and group of COBs (also different environments)
• Provides reports after COB, highlighting the most relevant COB information
• Provides monthly PDF report about the last month’s COB statistics with graphs
Enterprise Level Scheduler is designed to support IT operators in performing, checking and following-up on their day-to-day tasks. It allows for specific daily IT operating tasks, pre-COB tasks, COB, and post-COB to be performed in parallel and in several environments, either manually or automatically.

The GAMMA COB Controller Dashboard helps:
• Initiate COB from a common dashboard
• Support IT operators to perform all daily routine tasks and checks
• Automate all pre-COB and post-COB tasks
• Monitor and store the running times of pre-COB and post-COB tasks
• Start independent tasks e.g. start or stop TSA.SERVICEs, initiate archiving processes

Administration Dashboard allows operators to run Temenos Transact and TAFC/TAFJ-level commands directly from GAMMA without having to access the Temenos platform. The aim is to give operators access only to a Gamma view and specific commands and tasks, instead of providing them with authorization to access T24 and application servers.

• Operators can perform diagnostic commands without having access to OS or any Shell
• No system administrator intervention is needed
