ABN AMRO has been able to provide its ever-improving payments platform – a combination of in-house development and Temenos technology - to all customers when merging with Fortis Bank Nederland. ABN AMRO has transferred Fortis Bank Nederland retail customers and private banking and commercial clients to become one bank.
As well as migrating client data, the decision was taken to harmonise the two banks’ products, including mortgages, loans, payments and cash management. All customers will now benefit from faster payment transaction times achieved by more than a decade of collaborative development.
