Temenos strengthens its presence in Greece and Cyprus

Geneva, Switzerland, 2nd of February 2004 - Today TEMENOS Group AG (SWX: TEMN), a global vendor of integrated banking software, is pleased to announce that they are reinforcing their presence in Greece and Cyprus and their commitments to this market.
TEMENOS has been operating in Greece and Cyprus for a number of years through a distribution arrangement with Informer AE which has recently expired. As a result TEMENOS, in line with their global sales and support strategy to sell to and support their clients directly, TEMENOS expects to open its own offices in Athens before the end of second quarter of 2004.
A number of Greek and Cypriot Banks already rely on TEMENOS banking solutions to assist them in remaining competitive. TEMENOS’ direct presence in Athens will enable us to be closer to our clients and ensure our clients have the opportunity to take full advantage of all Temenos products and services.
TEMENOS held its first user meeting in Athens on January 29th where the vision and the plans of the company were presented to all users and TEMENOS’ commitment to the Greek and Cypriot markets was reinforced. This commitment is further evidenced by the fact that the TEMENOS Chairman, George Koukis and the CEO, Andreas Andreades are Greek and a Cypriot nationals respectively.
