Standard Chartered Grindlays (Offshore) Limited (SCG) Signs contract with Temenos global integrated banking software vendor

Geneva, Switzerland, 30th of July 2003 – Today TEMENOS (SWX: TEMN), a global vendor of integrated banking software, is pleased to announce that Standard Chartered Grindlays (Offshore) Limited (SCG), has selected TEMENOS GLOBUS™ to support its Offshore banking products and services.

After considering a number of integrated wealth management banking software vendors, Standard Chartered Grindlays (Offshore) Limited selected TEMENOS GLOBUS™ to replace its existing legacy systems for its offshore operations based in Jersey, in the first stage of a potential roll out to other offshore centres. “The combination of TEMENOS GLOBUS™ and Finantix OneWealth™ will provide SCG with the opportunity to reduce its processing costs and to deliver a more competitive offshore product, with enhanced sales and service capabilities.
