Becoming a Partner
Coinciding with the launch of TEMENOS T24 and its broad appeal based on open standards, Temenos has also chosen an equally open approach to the use of industry, country and functional specialist partners in order to aggressively grow market share.
The goals of these partnerships are to develop capacity in all aspects of our business with the exception of core development and help desk facilities. Temenos will always maintain a direct channel capability for all aspects of its business (including implementations), however a small number of high quality partnerships are seen as a constructive and proven method for growing license based revenue and implementation capacity.
Specifically, this means:
- Using a select group of industry leading (global or local) partners to generate new business via the sharing of Marketing resources and pipeline leading to joint target accounts, specific marketing campaigns and common lead generation tasks.
- Using a select group of leading (global or local) partners to assist in the sales process in order to close more business by leveraging either the global coverage of strategic partners or the specialist knowledge of local partner and to leverage existing account and prospect relationships; whilst working in a defined, collaborative sales mode.
- Selecting a group of industry leading partners to prime and/ or assist our business via a number of measures including partners being encouraged to prime service contracts, being trained and certified to provide these services and Temenos providing and supporting software tools and intellectual capital to differentiate the approved partner's services from their competitors.
