TEMENOS II at the foot of the podium
At 1236 hours yesterday, TEMENOS II crossed the finish line in 4th position after a little less than 10 days of racing.
The end of this race wouldn't have been particularly special were it not for the routine fog being replaced by a strong, bright sun, and light winds as the monohull crossed the finish line.
The few lingering regrets about losing a place in the ranking two days from the finish were rapidly succeeded by the satisfaction of having led a great race, at the front of the fleet throughout, and the feeling that considerable progress had been made in getting to know the boat better.
From 1000 hours today, TEMENOS II will slip its moorings once again, for a delivery down to La Rochelle during which 30 knots of wind are expected.
This will clearly make a change!
