Business Consultant

Overview of role:
Provide functional application and banking expertise, specifically in Derivatives, Securities, Asset Management, Credits (including mortgage, LD, limits, collaterals), Accountings, in the installation of our Banking Software Applications within the clients operation, and support the implementation of these applications.
Responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Provide support on implementation projects related to generic business processes, depending on the consultant’s knowledge and the specific business procedures of the client.
- Review clients’ requirements against TEMENOS T24™ functionalities, and recommend solutions (customization, additional developments, and change in working procedures….)
- Co-operate with CS Senior Consultant in recommending best bank practices, in line with legal and business requirements.
- Participate in TEMENOS T24™ configuration and other Temenos related products.
- Participate in functional User Application Testing, and support go live operation.
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Experience in Banking Systems essential, preferably gained through package systems environment.
- Islamic Banking desirable.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- In depth understanding of financial and banking processes, specifically in Credits, Accounting and/or Treasury.
- IT oriented: Knowledge of a banking software application, excellent skills in PowerPoint, Excel as well as other MS Office environment applications.
- Extensive travel entailed and may necessitate extended stays from home office.
- Excellent command of English, English being the company’s business language. Arabic and any other language is an asset.
